Precautionary Measures To Be Taken Before And During Installation:

Before installing the Stormproof Car Cover over your vehicle, you are required to ensure that your vehicle is totally dust free and clean. If your vehicle is not clean totally, you can use the Coverking’s special silk dustier and clean it properly. If you place the Stormproof Car Cover over the dust ridden vehicle body, the dust and dirt particles might stick to your Stormproof Car Cover and unleash severe damage. It is also necessary that you don't install the Stormproof Car Cover over a wet vehicle body.

Once you start installing the Stormproof Car Cover, take extra care to ensure that your car cover never comes in contact with your car exhaust tips if they are too hot or sharp edged. If your Stormproof Car Cover comes in touch with exhaust tips that are either sharp edged or hot, there are considerable chances that your car cover is likely to undergo melting instantly.

You should also take care to ascertain that if an antenna is fixed over your car, you are required to initiate a small opening in your car cover to facilitate the installation process. For this, you should first of all take away the car cover and fix the antenna at its usual position. Once you achieve this, you can select the base of the antenna and then cut a small portion of your car cover at the point where the antenna meets the base. Stormproof Car Cover Installation Process:

The installation of your Stormproof Car Cover is a simple procedure and the very first installation step includes unrolling your car cover over the hood of your vehicle. Just after unrolling the Stormproof Car Cover, you are instructed to install the mirror pockets at their respective positions if your car cover is equipped with mirror pockets. Installation of the mirror pockets first would help you to affix your Stormproof Car Cover tightly over your vehicle in windy conditions. Stormproof Car Cover Lock Kit Installation:

If you have purchased a lock kit along with your Stormproof Car Cover, it would be adequately helpful in providing protection to your car cover. After installation, the lock kit would ensure protection of your Stormproof Car Cover against theft.

Your car cover lock kit has a cable coated with vinyl material and further this cable has a metal piece on one end and a loop at the other end. Now, move on to the passenger's side of the covered vehicle and install the lock kit by affixing the cable loop at a specific position of around two inches through the grommet. Now, pull the metal piece end along to the driver's side by first taking it along under the grommet via the loop of the first cable. Now, as you reach the driver's side, pull the cable from outside the cover by two inches through the grommet and thereafter you can lock the end piece to the cable body at ease.

Cleaning Instruction:

Your Stormproof Car Cover can be cleansed properly via hand washing as well as machine cleaning. The hand washing procedure is particularly applicable to Stormproof Car Covers that are not so dirty and for machine cleansing, you should opt for large M/Cs (automatic speed control washers). Small M/Cs won't work properly as the washing space is considerably small in small automatic speed control washers. However, you are instructed not to use agitators in machine washing as the use of agitators might tear away the fabric of your Stormproof Car Cover.

Stormproof Car Cover Cleaning Process:

For proper cleaning of your Stormproof Car Cover, you are required to obtain a non-toxic, bio-degradable, non-caustic and eco- friendly anionic detergent and it is to be mixed with warm or cold water. Mix two cups of this detergent with warm/cold water and then soak the Stormproof Car Cover in it for a brief 5 minutes. Thereafter, wash your soaked Stormproof Car Cover for 5 minutes with gentle cycles and then rinse the Stormproof Car Cover with two cycles. As the two cycle rinsing of your Stormproof Car Cover is completed, you can further rinse the car cover with one cycle and make it half dry. Now, as you position this half dried cover over the hood of your vehicle, it will dry completely by the affect of air.
